Several months ago, the Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) embarked on a process to renew its corporate strategy to bring CPMA into the future. Members, Directors, Allied Associations and other key stakeholders were invited to participate in the process through a number of different avenues. The results of that exploration were paired with information gathered from consultation with staff and used in the development of a new multi-year Strategic Plan, designed to maximize value for members.
The implementation of the new Strategic Plan, which will focus existing organization activities within two core areas (Industry Simplification and Market Development) in order to strengthen the support we provide to and on behalf of our members, will be a step-by-step, measured approach. Implementation timelines that span through the end of the 2014-2015 fiscal year will ensure that all programs, services, activities and partnerships are maintained and continue to grow.
