Global supply chain efficiencies have increased supply chain visibility and placed an emphasis on product ID, traceability, RFID/EPC, and data synchronization. CPMA has taken a leadership role in domestic, bilateral and international activities representing the produce industry on various initiatives including global traceability standards, global strategies for the GS1 DataBar and founding participation in the International Federation of Produce Standards (IFPS).
