CPMA & Cdn Partnership for Consumer Food Safety Education CPMA supports the Canadian Partnership for Consumer Food Safety Education (CPCFSE) and participates on their Board of Directors. The purpose of the Canadian Partnership for Consumer Food Safety Education is to reduce the incidence of foodborne illness in Canada by increasing consumer awareness of safe food handling practices. In 2006, the Partnership launched its new website http://www.canfightbac.org/en/ which provides tools and resources for the food industry, consumers, health professionals and educators to help all consumers enjoy their food safely. On June 3, 2008, the Be Food Safe program was launched in Canada by the Canadian Partnership for Consumer Food Safety Education. The Be Food Safe program reinforces four “core” safe food handling messages - Clean, Separate, Cook, and Chill - and empowers Canadians to keep food safe.
