Introduction

The CPMA Repacking and Wholesale Food Safety Training Tool is based on the CPMA Repacking and Wholesale Food Safety Program for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables. The components of the Food Safety Program include the Repacking and Wholesale Food Safety Standard and Workbook,
a Generic HACCP Model and Workbook, as well as Food Safety Log and Record Templates.

The CPMA Repacking and Wholesale Food Safety Training Tool was designed to help users implement a customized food safety program for their operation. Users of the Training Tool could include owners, directors, general managers, food safety or food quality coordinators and any other managers dealing with food safety issues within their organization.  Many of the elements included in the tool can also be used to train operational staff.

Finally, the CPMA Repacking and Wholesale Food Safety Training Tool also includes special training aids such as videos, pictures, examples, simulations & exercises, self-evaluation and other helpful links to sources of information.

The Canadian Produce Marketing Association’s Repacking and Wholesale Food Safety Program and all associated documents and tools are the sole property of the Canadian Produce Marketing Association and may not be altered, misrepresented, distributed or re-sold in any way.
